I came across a wonderful young man who opened a restaurant in downtown St.Catharines. He was opening the establishment for his father in particular while he was studying at University. The food and service was amazing. I noticed they were lacking some marketing materials to get their business to grow. So I offered my services.
The Request
The family needed a logo, signage for the front of the store as well as posters for the front window, a menu and business card.
Business Card

The business card was limited to two colour to reduce cost. There was added marketing on the back for promotions.
Poster Design
The owner also requested posters for the front window. The restaurant would use these while they waited for the final signage to arrive for the store front.

Event Hand Out

I also designed a small hand out for them for events downtown. The backside would include a map and their social media information.
Menu
The Menu include Chinese and English type for their customers. They requested an aspect of their home land to be incorporated in the design. So I digitally painted a soft illustration for the background of the menu that featured Yuanjiajie 袁家界 of China.
The menu was designed to feel homey. I was happy to provide a new look for the menu and give them networking options.
Rough Work
Here was a few card designs I created for them to choose from.
